We're focused on bringing you Australian based Apple news, reviews, support, and a friendly online experience. MacTalk Australia relies heavily on its users to submit news and articles to the site so that we can keep content fresh for everyone to benefit from. MacTalk Australia was founded by Matt "Disko" Kelsh and Anthony "Decryption" Agius on January 1st, 2004 as AppleTalk Australia after the absence of an Australian Apple based website became apparent. Since that day, and with much help from people all over the country, MacTalk has grown to become the major Australian Macintosh community.

The current MacTalk Australia design was a concept created and coded by iSlayer & Disko. On Friday, 6th of October, AppleTalk was renamed to MacTalk and the domain name was changed to the site's new name. MacTalk is constantly growing, evolving with the community and there are always more features being planned for the future.
